The Pacific Inn Lemon Pepper Chicken & fries
As do some of the other culinary creations at the Pacific Inn, this burger
started out as a bartender meal. It's an un-written rule, you see, that when
bartenders are cooking their own dinner, they never cook what's on the menu.
The bartenders eat at the P.I. too!
One day, Robert Julien came in and sat at his usual
spot at the end of the bar, near the kitchen. Taking a little break from his
newspaper, he watched the bartender cooking something in the kitchen. After a
while he said, "Wow, what are you making there?". Adding a squeeze of lemon,
he reported, "My dinner". Robert thought for a moment. This time, adding a
little emphasis, Robert tried again. "No, I mean *what* are you making?". This
time bartender responded, "Well, it's simply a sprinkle of a little pepper and
fresh lemon on a chicken breast and finish it with a slab of swiss cheese.
Nothing special". Robert thought again for a moment. "I don't know, I
think you really have something there!".
The Pacific Inn
Lemon Pepper chicken burger was born.
This is a real bartender favorite.
